Beginning with reproductions of the creations of Louis C. Tiffany, Dale Tiffany has expanded the original conception of stained glass into contemporary, traditional, and art-deco works. All Dale Tiffany products are created with the same care and dedication as the master. The creative genius of Louis C. Tiffany led him to develop a series of glass objects which he termed "Favrile Glass." By interpreting the art forms of ancient cultures and combining them with his continuous exploration of new glass formulations he created an entire new concept of decorative glass objects.

Entirely hand-blown and hand decorated each piece of art is finished in a secret gold luster process and then fused in an assortment of colors, Dale Tiffany, Inc., is proud to present our museum quality version of this ancient art form as first shown by Louis C. Tiffany

The History of Tiffany
About a century ago, Louis Comfort Tiffany created a colorful shade for the new light source invented earlier by Thomas Edison. Tiffany developed and patented an "Opalescent Glass" for his shades which beautifully turned the reflected light rays into art. A decade ago, Dale Tiffany, Inc., following his tradition, developed and manufactured a new version of this antique glass shade. Each piece of stained glass is meticulously hand cut, copper foiled, and leaded in the timeless tradition of the original works of art.
